Once in operation, the photography of yesteryear was considered an extension of the painted picture, and snapshots and prints still remain that testify to this time devoted to pretty plump and languid ladies, and to picturesque landscapes that the excellent Autochrome Lumière would reveal better still. But the thing is, the blasted painting style changed again and again, evolving into an uncontrollable and creative artform that at times draws a formless and dynamic vision from the surrounding elements. Therefore, photographers such as Brigitte Fort must assert themselves in order to show the extent to which nature continues to inspire and bestow its goodness to those who love and observe it. Hence, with the help of technical innovations, the artist-photographer has been able to bring to light her poetic temperament, excellent research, and methodical knowledge to develop a formless expression that strongly resonates with her brio and confident vision. The result is successful portrayals of the magic quality of water, light, colours, and multiple and fascinating effects in daringly framed photographs. Brigitte Fort thereby metamorphoses natural density into emotions and appeal, dressing it with sparkles that are mysteriously beautiful but always lively and dazzling. This decisively points to the profound personality of this artist who is steeped in culture and a source of striking perceptions.
